Following a fire at a flat in Bournemouth town centre, Coomber Associates were appointed by the managing agent to undertake the re-instatement works. This involved a detailed assessment to evaluate structural integrity and the extent of damage. Once the area was made safe, damaged materials were removed and decontamination undertaken.
We prepared a schedule of works, covering repairs to walls, ceilings, electrical systems, fittings, fixtures and finishes. Approved contractors were appointed, with the work carried out under CAs supervision to ensure quality and compliance. Passive and active improvements were undertaken to bring the property up to current standards and building regulations.
Working with the agent and client, the project was successfully completed and handed back for habitation.
